St. Thomas is one of the oldest parishes in Jamaica, established in 1662. The parish was named after Thomas Lord Windsor. Morant Bay, its capital, was the site of the largest civil unrest in Jamaican history. In the communitiy of Hillside, tourists are able to visit the aesthetically pleasing Reggae Falls, a hidden gem.
